Traditional oil painting....
I was moved by the pictures I saw in the press of the sinking of the S.S. Braer of the Shetland Islands in 1993. Painted
in the style of Turner by conventional means, I tried to capture the boiling sea and stormy Turner sky. I had to use my imagination
as I was working from a very small black and white photograph.
